Hey! I’m Jenessa.
I’m from a tiny little town in Ontario called Jordan Station, where I live with my husband, Dan, and our Himalayan cat, Penny Lane.
Photographing weddings is one of my favourite things to do, but my days off are spent thinking about cake, playing games with Dan while enjoying a pint of craft beer, or going for a hike on one of the local trails.
When I started in the photography program at Niagara College, my dream was to become a photojournalist.
I was always drawn to the realness of those photos, and the adventures they contained. After I graduated in 2014, I started working as a second shooter with local wedding photographers.
This experience opened my eyes to how much I enjoy weddings and being around people celebrating love (and eating cake!).
As time went on, I realized that wedding photography allowed me to combine my love for photojournalism with my love for weddings.
So, here I am — shooting real love for adventurous and joyful couples, and loving every minute of it.
